HISTORY

AeroGeo conducts aerial and ground surveys, LiDAR (airborne and terrestrial), digital mapping, orthophoto production, hyperspectral imagery, underground mapping, volumetric calculations, and other related services. Our firm serves all levels of government, engineering, forestry, mining, construction, industrial and environmental consulting companies.

Incorporated in 1975, Vancouver-based AeroGeo is a 100% Canadian owned and operated, inter-provincially registered, company. Our corporate office is located in downtown Vancouver at #209 – 837 W. Hastings Street, just south of Canada Place in the Terminal City Club Tower. We conduct aerial and ground surveys, aerial and terrestrial LiDAR, digital mapping, orthophoto production, volumetric calculations, and other related services.

Tim Daly

President & C.E.O.

Tim’s remote sensing career began over 35 years ago with classes at Mount Royal College (Aviation Program) in Calgary. He started working for Mach-Air Aerial Surveys in 1970, where he gained experience in all aspects of flying, camera operation, lab processing, etc. Tim later worked for McDonald-Detweiller Associates as the assistant project leader on the Japanese Space Station project, before honing his skills with several other aerial survey and mapping companies. His career with Aero Geometrics Ltd. began in 1977, and he has been President and CEO since 1999. Under current management, the company has significantly expanded both its range of services as well as the numbers and diversity of its clients.

Peyman Bashiri, M.Sc.

Laser Scanning Expert

 Peyman Bashiri has a master’s degree in Architecture. As an early adopter of Laser scanning technology, Peyman has amassed many years of varied scanning experience. His knowledge of software such as ZF Laser Control, Cyclone, AutoCAD and Revit enable Aero Geo to produce a stunning array of value added products from the initial point clouds. Pe lends his expertise to creating accurate 3D modeling and precise as-built drawings of building interiors and exteriors, ongoing construction, remodeling, remediation, industrial plants and refineries, all of which are integral to the new push for B.I.M.
